Oleg Sirota's Istra Cheese Factory Tour
Where: 27 km from the villageUlyovo (35 minutes by car ) -the village of Dubrovskoye, Istra district.
On the tour, you can learn how to correctly identify cheese varieties, determine the quality of cheese, and get acquainted with the full cycle of milk turning into cheese.
There is a cowshed next to the cheese factory. His visit is also included in the tour. If desired, everyone can come in, watch and take pictures with the nursing cows.
Workshops for children and adults, cheese and wine tastings, and even a retreat with a Caesar goat are regularly held.
For everyone, and especially for younger guests, the tour offers an introduction to the farm's population: rabbits, calves, chickens, pheasants and, of course, the famous Merkel goat.
There is a home-made cafe on the territory of the cheese factory, where you can have a full lunch or dinner. There is a children's menu.
Starting in March, mini-festivals with fairs and programs are held.
